  1. Hey @Hangman, thanks for your reply. I dug a little deeper and the error seems to be that adding a fill layer (in the Photo persona) does not extend the bounds of the master page. By default, the master page as element on the individual pages does not cover the bleed, which seems odd to me. If you add a rectangle to the master page like you did, the bounds are extended correctly. 2024-01-08 10-58-12.mp4
  2. Still occurring in Publisher 2.3.0. Create a new document with bleed. Add a fill to the master page. Notice how it extends to the bleed. Switch to the spreads using this master page. Notice how the bleed is not visible there. Export to PDF and notice how your bleed gets cropped.
  3. Thanks again! This is for a CD booklet where usually a single file with imposed pages is expected. I also stumbled up your replies and the replies of others in this thread and it seems the only options are to either use external tools (including a print-to-PDF option) or create the imposed file manually. I hope that there will be better support for this in a future Publisher version.
  4. Thanks for confirming. So if I want to deliver a print-ready PDF with bleed and correct spread/page order to a professional printer, what do I do? Create the file in imposed page order from the get-go (i.e. if it's an 8-page booklet, make the first spread pages 8/1, the second spread pages 2/7 etc.)?
  5. If printing as booklet is supported, I would expect it to be supported in the export dialogue for PDFs as well, but as of Publisher 2.3.0 I can't seem to find the option.
  6. Yes please. It seems that if you create a slice from a layer, it's constrained to this layer, and if you create it manually, it includes everything, but there seems to be no way to control this after the fact, convert one into the other or have finer control over which layers are exported. For starters, I think at least allowing to convert a slice from being layer-bound to being layer-independent and back (by picking a layer that the slice shoud be bound to) would be a quick win.
  7. Ohhh awesome! Reading that list makes me so really, really happy. Thanks @walt.farrell!
  8. Just here to say thank you for these fantastic changes!
  9. Practically every time I use the Crop tool I am intuitively holding Ctrl to scale it around the center. This is, to me, a basic feature that is implemented for objects all across the Serif Suite, and its absence for the Crop tool is really puzzling. I hope this gets implemented soon.
  10. This is very irritating. The preview option seems to affect making a layer smaller, but making it larger seems to always use nearest neighbor. In either case, I would like to think that my preview image at 100% Zoom in Affinity is as close as humanly possible to the final export (with Bicubic or even Lanczos resampling). If my machine can handle it, why not give us the option? Just bought v2 hoping that this discrepancy would be fixed, but sadly, it's not.
