I keep looking at your videos tutorials but I just find no way to repeat what James is doing with Live Filters: If I choose the bottom, background pixel layer to nest a Live Filter and then try to move the Live Filter layer to another place in the layer stack it will not work... ... what happens is if I try dragging the Live Filter out of the background pixel layer, the pixel layer comes along... So basically what I end up doing with Live Filters is deselect all layers from the menu bar so that I can place them on top of the layer stack Thank you!!

what is the point of having LIVE LAYERS & ADJ. LAYERS? What are the differences ??? apart from behaving differently in the layer panel which create of course creates confusion. A right click or shortcut for deselecting layers would be great for using live layers more freely. Thank you!!!

All brushes are invisble unless you type on the bracket keys or bring the pointer back to the tool bar...thank you!

Hi Meb! I believe it would be very useful to put together a comprehensive video tutorial on layers and files. Seems to me that this is where the main potential resides for new AP photographers. Cheers!

What do you reckon should be the flatten image policy? . I am looking at exporting for fine art printing. It would be great publishing a comprehensive tutorial on layers and files . Seems to me that this the main difference from Photoshop and the main obstacle for photographers like me who wants to make the transition and use PSCC, LR and AP In the same workflow . The videos are great but they need to detail a complete workflow and its various options. Thank you!

I agree that most videos are too fast specially with the layers and their options

How do you save files to Lightroom? I read that "Affinity Open files directly in your LR masters before exporting back to LR Hot folder.... "

YES SAME QUESTION.... FOR EXAMPLE THE HIGHLIGHT AND SHADOW LIVE FILTER IN PHOTO IS HIGHLY SUPERIOR FOR EXAMPLE. PSCC HIGHLIGHT RECOVERY DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE.
