I'm currently trying photo2 for iPad and when I look at tutorials and my screen the tutorials show the history panel (looks like clock) but I don't have it. Is there something I need to do to add it or does it not really exist.

Mine used to work until I finally switched to Catalina a couple of days ago. Since this looks like some have had this problem longer and Affinity is not responding it might be time to find something else. Pixelmator might be a viable solution worth looking at. Not sure if it has all the features that Affinity has but I’ve never used all of its capabilities. Affinity used to be a good alternative to adobe products but if it’s not going to work then it isn’t even the bad photos alternative that comes with Mac

Why can't you guys get it. There are some of us that would like to have a manual to refer to rather than just look at videos and try to pick up on what is being done and said. I requested a manual when you came out with the final product that you decided to sell. I've referred a lot of people to your product, but still would like a good manual, or how to book.

Can the clone tool be added to the extension? I have found that by using the extensions in photos I can easily get to the most used tools, but it would be helpful if the clone was added to the list with the healing, inpaint, etc. I'm not sure if it is my computer, or the extensions, but once in a while it takes forever to load the extensions I want to use, or they crash. It happens the most on the develop extension, but has occasionally happened on one of the others.

The new operating system from Apple (El Capitan) is supposed to allow for third party editing. However, Apple says it needs an extension from the third party and when I look for extensions I don't find any. Have the good Affinity people been able to make apple photos reach out to Affinity Photo for editing purposes? If so, what needs to be done? Also, is there a simple way to put the edited photo back in Apple Photos besides exporting to another file folder then doing an import? Back when I used Photoshop Elements and I Photo I used to be able to get back and forth easily.

Others have also posted that it is sometimes hard to follow the videos as they go to fast through a subject matter and that a written manual or "how to book" makes it a lot easier. That way we can try as we read. As asked before, any idea how much longer until you have something in writing? I've decided to use the other manuals that I mentioned for a basis to educate myself some more. If you are writing a manual, please try to go through the various tools and features with step by step instructions as how to do something. As an example, I've tried to use your patch tool, but have not had the same success as using the clone, and your help section hasn't helped enough. A good descriptive book would really help some of us.

I noticed in the Serif website manuals, essentials, and startup for photo plus. When can we expect the same for the Affinity Photo
