Hello, I am new to this software. I have been having the same issues editing text after it has been exported as PSD. I have not pressed any keys (shortcuts) and have not converted anything to curves or rasterized. Somehow, it is still not allowing me to edit text once I export the document. I am using the program on a Windows computer.
I have also changed the settings on imported files: Import PSD text as text rather than bitmap to no avail...
Please help :(

I have the same problem as GDIAZ2791. Also changed the settings on importes files but still I am not able to edit text :-(

Hi mklug67,
Welcome to the forums
Affinity apps can currently import the following Adobe formats:
PSD, PSB, AI (containing a PDF stream), PDF & Freehand (versions 9-11)
We're also working on an .IDML importer for Publisher, which will be available in version 1.8 - I hope this helps!

Have you tried PDF Expert ? It's very light weight and does a pretty good job. I have been using the Mac version since release 1.0 and I can't complain.

We are coming up on July 2018 which as far as I know is mid-summer in the northern hemisphere. I realize everyone is working hard but a little hint would be appreciated since we have been teased with this since 2016. We have been waiting over 2 years............. wave your magic wand!!

I am new to Affinity Photo. I was pleased to see that it was possible to use Topaz plugins. However I cannot workout how to get Affinity to recognise where they are. I have followed the Help topic and looked on this forum but am not getting anywhere.
I have Photoshop CS5 (which is where I looked for the plugins.)
I am using a PC with Windows 10
I am aware that using these plugins is a work in progress. It is a bonus I was not expecting.
I suspect I am missing something obvious in the instructions so help would be appreciated

Cannot open the app, as AP beta asks for a purchased copy in order to be launched (I already have purchased it, of course). I've downloaded the beta twice, with no result.
Any ideas?
