Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? It worked fine, then all of a sudden it didn't. I'm in Develop Persona trying to paint the carpet with the Brush Overlay so I can make it darker by lower the exposure in Basic. Now the brush is adding an extra red line, starting from the other side of the screen. Hard to explain, take a look att the film clip. This is happening on all images but only when I go back to the Develop Persona from for example the Photo Persona after doing som editing. When I open an NDG or CR3 file in Affinity and end up in the Develop Persona for the very first time before I have done any editing in the other personas it's working fine. I often work while traveling and since the iPad keyboard is pretty heavy I just bring the iPad and the Apple pencil so unfortunately I’m stuck with the boxes in the photos above. Also, it worked fine a few hours ago. Then it suddenly changed.

I guess I can live with vibrance 24 or 26 instead of 25…

191:100 works perfectly of course, can’t believe I didn’t think of that. Thanks. However, it did work and then all of a sudden it didn’t which is very strange. Also, right now almost the same thing happened to the vibrance adjustment. When I set vibrance to 25 it automatically sets to 24. Doesn’t matter if I manually type 25 or if I use the 25 preset, 25 is not an option anymore. I’m pretty new to the iPad version, is it known for having a lot of bugs?

I’m trying to set the custom ratio to 1.91 to 1 but when I type in 1.91 and click OK it automatically sets to 2. This happens both in the Develop persona when I try to crop before converting the RAW file and after converting, in the Photo persona. This is new, it used to work a couple of hours ago. A restart didn’t help. I can’t find a setting that prevents the crop tool from using anything but even numbers. Is there a setting like that that I maybe activated by accident?

Do you have to go through this entire procedure every time you open a raw file for the first time if you want it to open in the Develop persona?

Yes, I tried forced restart. Always the first thing I do when things doesn't work. Solves the problem surprisingly often.

Seems like Apple changed the shortcut sharing options since that article was published. In my iPad and on my iPhone the only option I have is to allow or not allow people in my contacts to share shortcuts with me. Even with Private Sharing enabled I can’t open your shortcut since you’re not in my contacts.

Also, on the rare occasions when it’s working the raw file opens in the Photo persona, not the Develop persona.

Hi again! The problem is that it’s not working when I have the exact same settings that you have. When I’m in Apple Photos and have an open image I want to open in Affinity I go to the square and arrow symbol and click on it, then I click on my shortcut and nothing happens. Affinity does not open. Except for some photos. A few will open, most will not. This could be images from the same day, in the same album, taken with the same lens and camera, in the same format, one minute apart. One will open in Affinity, the next one won’t. I’m starting to think this is a bug of some kind, not a setting problem. I’m gonna try to open Dan C’s shortcut now to see if it helps.

Yes, I know. That was a joke. Sorry it that wasn’t clear. I tried every way of clicking, pressing and tapping and I also tried with my Apple keyboard. I’ll give it another go in a bit, at work now. Thanks.

When I write “click”, I mean tap, long press, banging my iPad against the table, cursing and yelling. Tried everything. Highly annoying.

@Paul Mudditt Dan C selects “Open in…” (not “Open app”) which I for some weird reason don’t have. If I select “Open app” as you do the “Shortcut input” doesn’t appear as an option, I can only choose between all the apps.
