  1. Dear Affinity Team, The pen, pressure settings, etc. are a main part of my current work and the current behavior bothers me a lot because it keeps happening. It would be good to know if you are working on this or maybe already found a solution for upcoming releases? Thank you very much and best regards, Thomas
  2. Dear all, I found the scenario and I can reproduce it, but for me THIS IS A BUG! 🙂 You select the Pen Tool (not the pencil tool), draw a line and you can change the pressure settings. This is how it should work. But then you select a brush (intentionally or not) and remove it again, after that you can't change the settings anymore. And that can't be, especially when Affinity always claims that everything is indestructible, right? Thanks and best regards, Thomas Pressure_Bug.mp4
  3. Sure, it's not a big deal, I just started with my sketch. You can find the document attached. Unfortunately, I always save my documents without the save history for performance reasons. Best regards, Thomas 6_Fischotter.afdesign
  4. Good Morning, Thanks for your reply @Ron P. but that is not correct. The pressure settings can be applied to other tools as well, see the attached video. But it often happens that the pressure settings don't work and that is really frustrating because then you have to delete the whole layer / document and recreate it. I don't know how to reproduce this 100%, but maybe the first video will be helpful for Affinity developers. Thanks again and best regards, Thomas Pressure_working.mp4
  5. Hello all, To be honest I am not happy with the latest update, some of my favorite settings do not always work, for example the pressure settings on vector lines (see attached video). I cannot apply any pressure settings to my vector lines. When I create a new document it works again, and some time later it doesn't work again. This is really frustrating ... I hope you can help me. Thanks and best regards, Thomas Pressure_not_working.mp4
  6. Hi Lee, Thanks, do you have an update for me on this issue? Will it be fixed in the near future? Thanks and best regards, Thomas
  7. Dear all, As far as I can remember, there are different icons for the outline / contour and the fill. When switching between the two and different tools, errors occur and the wrong icon remains. Please see the attached video for more information. Am I wrong or is this a bug? I only noticed it since the last update. Thank you and best regards, Thomas Icons.mp4
  8. First of all, thank you for your explanations, then I was not completely blind after all :-) I like the tip (with the copy), it has helped me at least to find the desired vector brush again. Therefore thanks for it. In general, I would appreciate it if Affinity takes this feature into account for further releases, because otherwise it is also very important for Affinity to be "non desctructible" and to return everything in the protocol, but not at this point.
  9. Hi I thought that this is a general problem and didn't want to create a new thread, but no problem I will do that. Thanks, Thomas
  10. Hi all, I only found this in the Affinity Photo Forum, so is there currently no way to tell what brush is used for a seleted form? If I select an object the contour brush is displayed on the top (see red rectangle below) but The brush is not selected automatically in the corresponding panel (would be the best option) I don't have information on the brush type that is used here Is there a trick to find out what kind of brush I used for this cloud for instance? Thanks and best regards, Thomas
  11. Hi all, I am currently facing a similar problem, is there currently really no way to tell what brush is used? If I select an object the contour brush is displayed on the top (see red rectangle below) but The brush is not selected automatically I don't have information on the brush type that is used Is there a trick to finding out what kind of brush I used? Thanks and best regards, Thomas
  12. Hi, first of all thank you very much for your answers :-) I'm with R C-R, it seems to depend on the brush, but I couldn't currently reproduce it, or rather I was experimenting with so many brush types at that time that I can't tell exactly which one it occurred with. I will check it within the next few weeks and open a new thread if needed. So depending on your forum rules we can close this one here or leave it open? Thanks Thomas
  13. Hi, I'm using my Affinity Designer in German, so I'm not 100% sure if the labels fit :-) When I draw a new object I can use the "solid line" to change the pressure. So far so good. But if I change to "texture line" for the object and apply a brush and then change back to "solid line", I can't change the pressure anymore or I change the pressure but it's not applied anymore to the object. If I draw a new line or object, then it works again. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong here? Thank you already and many greetings, Thomas
