  1. Hi Community I think this is a typical newbie to Affinity Photo problem and I really appreciate any help! Target: "Follow the red arrow" ;) I want to remove the shadow from the section. On the gravel ground this is no problem with the Inpaint Tool. But this can not be used to remove the shadow from the forearm. What I already tied: Get the colour with the colour picker, select Colour Replacement Brush Tool, the result is: Undo (because it is destructive). Quick Mask the section, apply the "Recolour Adjustment Layer", I tried all Blend Modes, best result I got is with "Screen" Please find a slice of the untreated original attached For each reply many thanks in advance, Roland
  2. Hi MEB Thanks for fast feedback. My reason to ask for this Feature Request: I am using quite often the "Displace Filter" from "Layer / New Live Filter" menu in combination with "Load Map from Layers beneath". As soon Artistic Text is changed to Pixel after you applied Mesh or Perspective, the Filter does no longer work. As soon you change something with Mesh or Perspective, the "Map loaded from beneath" does no longer fit. That's the problem. If you compose some text on a flat wall like in the tutorials, this is no problem, the text may remain flat. But if you want to lay a text perspectively and/or with a mesh on a non flat underground like e.g. a meadow not being parallel to the computer screen, it's a problem, Artistic Text is changed to Pixel layer. Designer has no Displace Filter. And believe me, the Live Filters are used VERY often by me ;) CU, Roland
  3. Please may I suggest: I am really missing 3D Artistic Text, so in Photo and Designer. Using the Mesh Wrap and Perspective Tool should not convert Artistic Text into Pixel format. This features would be really useful to have them added. Many thanks in advance! Cheers, Roland
  4. Hi Uuiop Thanks for the hint! (Y) Before I try: is this destructive or non destructive? Cheers, Roland
  5. MEB, many thanks for reply. As I aware, this is more than once asked and/or requested here in the forums: Exporting Slices to specific size, e.g. 2000x2000 => 800x800. The Export Persona is really a super super super function and it makes things really easier. I love it (who does not)! The only thing missing is the possibility to export Slice to specific size (if needed/wanted). Shall I post it extra in Feature Request forum or is is sufficient, here in the Questions forum? Cheers, Roland
  6. Thanks Lee, it helps for 50% ;) Same problem in Export Persona. Trying to find a workaround, how to export e.g. 2000x2000 Slice of EP directly to 860x860 output. Found yet no solution for both problems. CU, Roland
  7. How to manage preset's? Create, Delete, Rename Preset is always disabled in my Affinity Photo. Please see also attachment. This is always grey and you may not click it. I really would appreciate any help! Best regards, Roland
  8. crabtrem Yes, but it is applied always to the full document size. I assume, Thierry has - as me - more than one slice, but it is unfortunately not possible to export from Export Persona into a defined pixel x pixel size. Export Persona is a super function, but I am also exactly hardly missing this. Please see also attachment. Roland
  9. Hi Meb, thanks for the hint. Drawing on the iPad Pro is almost like working on paper. Can't wait for Affinity Designer for iPad ;) ! Please: support at least Apple's pencil and FiftyThree stylus! Specially the FiftyThree stylus offers "analog alike" stylus rubber and blend functions at it's best - they call it "think with your hand". Many thanks in advance! CU, Roland
  10. Waiting for summer

  11. Hi Meb Many thanks for the hints. I also have Photo - so let's wait for the implementation. Regards, Roland
  12. How do I convert a mask I made into a vectorized curve? Found nothing in the tutorials of Affinity Designer. I'll really appreciate any help. Cheers, Roland
