  1. Hello Pšenda and thank you for the hint. I have searched a lot and nearly all of the search results behind your link are more than 5-6 years old. So I wanted to know if there is a solution or not. Thank you anyway 🙏
  2. Hello. I have received JPG files from a customer that need to be placed in a Publisher document. The JPG files contain an (invisible) clipping path so that they can be placed either with background or clipped. When I open this JPG in Affinity 2 Photo, the transparent background is displayed. If I place the JPG in Publisher, it is always placed with a white background. However, I need it clipped. I am missing an option in Publisher where I can choose whether it should be placed normally or clipped. Is there a trick that I may not know about? Best regards Martin
  3. I have a new information from Summa about the OPOS Registration Marks. It is possible to place them yourself, the plugin is not absolutely necessary. Attached you find a detailed OPOS operation taht explains how to manually set OPOS markers. This could be a good workaround for some of us, even if a plugin is of course still appreciated in the future. Regards Martin Manually set OPOS markers.pdf
  4. I found my personal workaround for this: Export as PDF Right click on PDF --> open with: Notepad++ STRG+F and search for text strings you want to change Overwrite the text Save. 😄
  5. For ADOBE there are plugins from Summa for creating Opos Registration Marks. Now I have switched to Affinity and Summa does not (yet) offer a plugin for Affinity. I really need a solution for this.
  6. Hey Garry, thanks for clearing this. Regards Martin
  7. Hello. I just bought the complete Affinity Suite and I also struggle with adding Summa OPOS Regmarks in Affinity Designer. I absolutely need this. So I totally agree to the comments before. (!)
  8. Hello. I´m considering to switch from Adobe to Affinity. In my Adobe Suite I mainly only use Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Reader PRO and Dimension. The first 3 Tools are generally covered by Affinity. But what are good alternatives for Acrobat Pro and Dimension? If I switch to Affinity and still have to pay for Acrobat and Dimension then this would make noch sense - financially. Has anyone found good alternatives? Regards Martin
  9. Did I miss something or is Acrobat Pro 2020 an alternative? https://blog.techsoup.org/posts/adobe-acrobat-pro-2020-vs.-adobe-acrobat-pro-dc EDIT: Sorry, this seems to be only for non profit oragnizations...
