Hi guys, firstly congratulations on the Windows release ! I have been waiting some time for this as I tend to work between both Mac and Windows and can easily share files between the two :) I have noticed today on opening an EPS file that it's not rendering correctly. I have attached 2 screenshots of what it should look like I.E opened in illustrator V's how it looks in Affinity. I can forward the file if required but wont post it here due to licensing terms (it was a purchased asset). Many thanks and keep up the good work...

Hi Dave, and thanks so much for the reply ! The document was originally a .ai file opened with affinity and then I created a new board in Affinity and copied some of the elements across. I may well have copied the telephone numbers across so this maybe the cause? I will try that now with the opacity and again thanks so much for your help. If you would like anything in addition from me to help you quash the issue please feel free to fire away as I'm quite happy to help all I can. I may still have the original .ai file floating around if that would be of any help?

No probs thanks MEB, I vowed about 6-9 months ago to never open the alternative cloud based graphic app again and was just double checking to hopefully help me keep that solemn oath ! Ha ha.... Just to note I thought I would be clever and try recreating it in Photo but got the same result. Enjoy your day and keep Affinity rocking ;)

No probs thank you ! I have tried to clear the app on load up but that doesn't seem to change anything and I still get the same error. In addition I have also tried repairing the system permissions and reset the pram but no joy. Really appreciate the swift support Meb... It's genuinely appreciated ! ;)

Hi Guys, I have a quick question as something is bugging me today on a business card desing I have ready to send off for print. Whenever I try to export the document to a PDF (for Print) It keeps returning: An error occurred while exporting to: /Users/GavinPreece/Desktop/v2.pdf I was just wondering if you know of any bugs with PDF export at the moment that are awaiting a patch or if this is something unique to me? thanks in advance ;)

So good to see the sweet, sweet, bug fixes so quickly after release...... ! Great job all round and I echo Raskolnikov's sentiments above. "KEEP ROCKING" as it finally feels like there is life away from the cloud. Not long now I keep telling myself :)

Noticed the very same today ! Good to hear it is just a simple bug :) Simple bugs are the best kind of bugs ! Just to say (and I know I tweeted this a few days back) but man I love affinity ! Once one or two of the little bugs are squashed this is going to be an app to contend with....... I have tried switching from Adobe on several occasions but always find that within a day or so I go back to them as the works curve just doesn't fit on other alternative apps. I have been 4 days now and only had to open illustrator ONCE and that was because affinity kept crashing when trying to combine a large volume of points from an image trace. I forwarded the error reports but it was consistently crashing. Completing the same task in illustrator wasn't an issue. But for early doors you got a damn fine foundation you guys ! Thank you so much for your hard work............. Seriously appreciate it !

I would also like to know the answer as I lost an hour or two yesterday pulling my hair out looking to see if I have missed something really obvious! It could well be something that is on the road map but if anyone could ease the hair tarring I would be so grateful! Absolutely loving Affinity thus far. It is the first time I have dropped illustrator and Photoshop for more than 3 days without having to revert back at some point. At last an app that shows serious promise guys !!!!!
