This issue is specific to the afpub file, caused by mixing color profiles:
I created a new from scratch which does not show the issue (using same color profile as jpeg)
using a channel mixer to knock out all colors except K. In my file, K is visible. In you file, K is zero.

Make sure the color profile set for the document is correct (in Document Setup -> Color). That would be my first guess.

It is my mistake. i found out that i need to use the columns and guide tools not the grid.

Hi TimBoh
My apologies, I'm not certain what you're trying to achieve here - are you looking for your grid to align with your margins? Or do you want the grid to not display inside the margins?
