  1. Hi team, Started using Affinity Designer 1.7.0.7. The Paste button in the text bar above the onscreen keyboard works. Unfortunately the Paste menu option doesn’t recognise when I have copied text in another app like Notes i.e. the Paste menu option is grayed out.
  2. Good stuff. Been in IT helping people recover their files
  3. Hey Patrick, Hope the team releases the Designer beta out soon It’s my main design tool Enjoy the night everyone. It’s night here in Oz
  4. Coming back to Serif from holidays’ not a bad place to look forward to
  5. Like your work on the Facebook iPad Affinity page and you deserve the rest. Have fun buddy.
  6. Hi again team, Just letting you know the layer thumbnails don’t update to the layer’s current state, once undoing an experimental change.
  7. Hi team, Letting you know that dragging the nodes can be difficult with the Apple Pencil e.g. when the node disappears while dragging, also often very slow to process the movement of the node. Also while moving the nodes, the nodes get assigned their own colour as the colour picker activates quickly after pressing the node to drag. Perhaps time the colour picker not to activate as quickly. After using the fill tool, doing selections with the Move tool can freeze a lot, even not work. Undo does not process. This is on the current 12.9” iPad Pro. Hope you had a good weekend.
  8. Yep, also exists in v1.6. Zooming like you said will refresh the name, also panning across the artboard.
  9. I would certainly participate if offered, and give feedback. Designer is my main Graphic Design tool, as would Publisher if offered on the iPad.
  10. The main benefit is performing certain tasks for multiple files without additional work e.g. change image size
  11. The colour studio is fantastic. Just two things... Inputting colour values Because sampling colours for inspiration and/or use is a daily occurrence in iOS, I have fantastic colour pickers on iOS. If you can enable Affinity Photo/Designer to receive colour values manually, such as Hex and RGB values, life would be infinitely easier. This means would avoid... Working on an approximate colour in the colour wheel and sliders or... Importing an image of the colour source onto the canvas, and using the colour picker on the imported image (which often happens). Manual input of colour values will not only be easier and faster to work with daily, I will have the precise colour I am after. Exporting colour palettes If you can allow Exporting of colour palettes for future reference, would be fantastic rather than the only option to save them in the document. Remembering which document a colour palette is in can be tough, especially if the palette was created months ago. Having palettes at the application level is fantastic, so thanks for that. I usually have palettes at the document level as its the only way I know the palettes are backed up somewhere. Hope I’ve made sense and is something that can be put into both Affinity Photo and Designer on iOS.
  12. Hi team, When entering dimensions to create a new document preset, pressing the onscreen delete button works normally. Tested a physical keyboard even though I don’t use it in real work. Pressing a physical keyboard’s delete button produces “(null)” each time in the dimensions fields. Thinking it may happen around the program’s text fields as well.
  13. Hi Serif, Got the new beta update today. Love that batch processing is here. When selecting the output folder, other than tapping select to tick a folder, then tap Open, perhaps allow going into the destination folder, then tapping “Set” or ”Set destination”? This is just to make the process easily understandable. Hope it helps! Enjoy the weekend.
  14. Hi team, Finding the Stock page is fully functional and simple to understand. No bugs so far. Well done. Only thing is differentiating between scrolling and a tap/hold to select an image can be fidgety. Became easy to adjust to and select images after 3 or so attempts. It almost feels right. Can require more focus to select an image first go. Perhaps a fine tune will do the trick. Great job with the beta.
