Randall Lee Reetz Posted September 2, 2019 Share Posted September 2, 2019 Would be really helpful if Affinity Designer snapping object candidates could be configured to objects (and object points) within a certain proximity to the cursor position or the dragged object (and its points) position. I have written such functionality into the code of tools I've designed... works really well. Could be an adjunct setting to be used in conjunction with other snapping candidate presets (could be configured by the user to be used with other "Candidates" settings). When I have done this, I have allowed for the setting also of a max number of candidate objects (the "10" objects or object points closest to the current cursor position, for example).
