gkd Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 I wish to run text around a photo that has had the background cut out. I have cut the background out of the photo (transparent) and exported it as a PNG. When I bring the photo into publisher and clicked on text wrap, the wrapping goes around the original edge of the photo rather than the remaining cut out area. I have tried exporting the cut out PNG from Affinity photo as a whole document and selection without background without success. What am I doing wrong? Quote
PixelPest Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Should work from a quick test. What TextWrap property do you choose? Quote
gkd Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 I use tight for text wrap, thanks for the reply Quote
PixelPest Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Mmmh - and still no luck? Can you put a color filled rectangle behind your PNG to check the alpha channel is really there? Quote
gkd Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 Yes putting a coloured filled box behind it works okay. Quote
PixelPest Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 One last question before I run out of guess work: how is the image labeled in the layers panel? In German it says: freigestellt (Image) . knock-out? Quote
PixelPest Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Do you have real text in your text frames and can we have at least a screenshot? Quote
