Hi,

I would like to know whether or not it is possible to add an overlay (as a separate layer) in Affinity Photo (version 1.7) drag it and resize it to match the size of the layer below it. Most of the PNG files used as overlays has lower resolution when compared with the high resolution photographs. Is it possible to do this in a fast and simple way? Thanks.

Hi EVERTON :)

My apologies, I'm a little confused by your question - are you looking to Place one image over another image? If so you can use File>Place to select the image you want in your document, then click & drag to set it's size. You can also resize this layer using the move tool or transform tab after it's been placed. I hope this helps, please let me know if I've misunderstood your workflow here.

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
