emma01 Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Hi, probably the most simplest of questions but is it possible to cut a hole in a layer? So to cut a circle out of one layer so you can see the layer below through that circle. Thanks for any help, Emma (still learning!) Quote
TonyO Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Say you want to cut a circle hole in a square shape. 1. Draw the square first, so it's on the bottom. 2. Draw a circle second, so it's on top. (the top shape will always cut out of the bottom shape) 3. Select both shapes, right click, select GEOMETRY > SUBTRACT. Done. On the iPad: Tap the Commands button at the top of the screen (looks like an ellipses "...") Select Geometry > Subtract Quote
