BC15
Just realised that the lack of EXIF thumbnail creation will also prevent me from using Affinity to convert the 8 bit tifs to jpegs for sending to agents, so will have to use DPP 4 or Photoshop to do this as well........fingers crossed that a fix is coming. Pity there is not an agreed standard that all imaging companies could adopt to ensure that all the software available to us consumers is compatible. This would be good for everyone! Are you sure about that? I am reasonably sure that every OS (Mac, Windows, iOS, etc.) can generate previews of jpegs on-the-fly very quickly & efficiently, so they should be viewable in Finder, Explorer, etc. Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.

This inevitably slows down the selection and viewing of the Jpegs when deciding which image goes to which agent. As I regularly deal with hundreds if not thousands of images in this way, this delay does have an impact.
