JimWindsor Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Hello, I started making a diagram in LucidChart and realized I need to capabilities that Affinity offers. To save time I imported the diagram. Before this I've used Adobe Illustrator. I seem to recall AI breaking down an imported figure into individual shapes. Is their a way to do this in Affinity? For simplicities sake, imagine a square with a circle inside it. I'd like to import this figure created in LucidChart and delete the circle shape in the center. Thank you for any help provided. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted July 23, 2019 Staff Posted July 23, 2019 A lot will depend on the file format you exported to from LucidChart, if a raster based format such as JPEG or PNG these won't import as individual objects. PDF may be the best format to try, however on the odd occasions PDFs can be rasterised during export for a number of reasons. If this is the case, our app will import the rasterised image which won't have separate objects. JimWindsor 1 Quote
