Hello

I am using Sony Playmemories to organise and browse photos. WIthin Playmemories there is an option to start external software by refering to the *.exe file. I want to use this option to start AffinityPhoto from Sony Playmemories, but I can not find the path the exe-file.

I purchased and installed AffinityPhoto from the Microsoft Store and I susspect that this is why I can not find the path to *.exe files.

My questions are:
* Is it possible to start AffinityPhoto from other software by calling the exe file ?
* If this is possible, where is the *.exe file stored ?

Best regards

Hi Peskar,

Welcome to the forums :)

It should be possible to launch Affinity Photo as an external editor, however as you've mentioned purchasing the app from the Microsoft Store hides the exe under C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps - which is a hidden folder. Use the following guide to gain access to this folder, then you should find the exe under C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps\SerifEuropeLtd.AffinityPhoto_[...]\Program\

I hope this helps!
