Hello

I am a bit confused on a "place image" UI when I bring in some image it add a panel called Place images on the right

Now I have import all ±100 photos I want to used for my photobook design and the minute I click on another tool the panel with all the images disappears

How do I get it back I can't find it anywhere in the menus is this by design or am I just blind ?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forum, Neill.

You should not select the files until you are ready to actually place the images onto the page(s). The workflow for selecting multiple files using the Place Image tool is:

  1. Select all the files you are going to work with immediately.
  2. Place the first image.
  3. Place the next.
  4. Etc.

Once you stop placing images, any that you have not yet placed are forgotten.

Thanks for the reply

I guess I was hoping for a film strip of photo so it quick and easy to swop images around as I try figure out what I want on the page or pages and what works together etc

I hope they consider developing something like that as this tool will be used to create photo books
