Purple Tint on Raw CDNG Image

Recommended Posts

Hello Bros, love the software.

I've got iPad and Affinity. Loading my newest Raw pictures i've taken through the Lightroom App and then exported it to Cloud and then into Affinity, throws a purple cast on the picture with weird translations of the RGB colors. My old raws taken that way have worked fine, only my new ones are like this. It is hard to fix, impossible, opening the pictures up in other apps don't have this color rendition on it.

I tried to take a new picture, same thing, old DNGs work perfect, Idk has adobe updated i'ts app or is it Affinity 1.7.1 or something? I would like to edit my photos as usual without a crazy difficult Raw translation of the image?

Please help.

Hi MaxSaltin,

Welcome to the forums :)

Does this only happen when exporting a file from Lightroom, then importing it into Affinity?

Could you please confirm what camera model your RAW files originate from?

When opening the image in Lightroom, what adjustments are applied? What format are you saving to from Lightroom to iCloud?

Could you please try exporting an image from Lightroom directly to your iPad, then try importing this into Affinity, do you still see the same colour cast?
