Publisher windows install failed

Recommended Posts

I am having problems installing Publisher which I downloaded today. Immediately I hit the install button it comes up with "Setup failed" message. I have run the Microsoft Trouble shooter app which tells me it could find no problems with the installation setup. I have tried downloading the program a second time, run it as administrator but with the same result. I also tried rebooting as indicated above but to no avail. I have been a long term user of Serif products and was able to install Affinity Photo with no problem, so what is wrong with the Publisher installation package?

Hi Dave,

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble getting Affinity Publisher installed.

Please could you call up the run box by holding down the Windows key and tapping the letter R and then enter the following %temp%\AffinitySetup into the run box and click ok.  This should open a folder, with some other folders in.  Open the latest folder and there should be 2 log files, Setup.log and SetupUI.log. Please attach these two files to this thread.

Thanks

Callum
