bowen192 Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 I've got a question that is really about how to use AP properly rather than a problem. I use AD a lot, but my AP skills are very limited. I have a photo of someone in front of a stage. On the stage is some warning tape that I want to get rid of: I've isolated the person on another layer and used the healing brush to get so far: But this is as far as I can get without ruining it. Everything I do just seems to blur it. I can't get a clear line between the black and orange. I don't really know if I'm using the right tools. Maybe I should be using adjustment layers? Any help is appreciated. Quote
Sara72 Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 Hi, you can make a freehand selection of the area, using the polygonal setting to get a neater/straighter selection and while still selected create a new pixel layer above, fill that new layer with black or a sample colour as close to the area colour you want.
