I want to switch to affinity but......

I need to create custom profiles with an IR image using the camera I converted. The temperature needed to produce a proper WB image requires a temp well below 2000 K. In PS I would export an to Adobe Camera Raw and save it as a DNG, then bring it in to the DNG profiler and click on the Color Matrices area and Slide the temperature slider to -100. this is then saved to camera profiles in my app data.

If this is possible, can someone explain the procedure to me in detail?

Hi,

Welcome to the forums.

I'd recommend changing your forum profile name from your email address to something else. When a RAW image is opened in Affinity Photo, it opens in the Develop persona, after you are finished developing you'll switch to the Photo persona From here you can use the Channel Mixer to make adjustments to the image. At this point the file is now a working document within Affinity, we don't have the option to export to DNG or any other RAW format.

Images can be assigned or converted to a different colour profile, the ICC profile has to be installed inside the OS for Photo to use it.

Thanks for the prelim info,,i will have to play around with the software a bit. hopefull it will be able to do what is needed for Infrared images. I dont need to export a DNG. I just needed to work on it in its Raw format..Exporting back will be as a tiff.
