exporting affinity file to jpg in designer

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @ignoreshopping. :)

The JPEG format is lossy, even at the highest quality (minimum compression) setting; any areas where there is a sharp transition between colours is always the first to suffer, so text on a contrasting background rarely looks sharp. In the PDF file there is selectable text, so it’s every bit as sharp as the text in the original file.

By the way, unless you particularly like to receive spam it isn’t a good idea to use your email address as your forum username. To change it, go to your Account Settings page, click or tap on the ‘Display Name’ link, type a new display name into the box and press ‘Save’.
