Stroke a Pen tool path with brush

The last request for a stroke feature in AP was in a 2016 post.

Has there been any progress toward adding it to AP (as well as to AD)?

Hi HuntClark,

There is no way to do this similar to the way Photoshop does, however you can draw a path using the Pen Tool then select a brush from the brushes panel and it will be applied to the path.
