redclifford5000 Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I'm working on a wedding invitation and when I recolor a layer in Affinity Designer and export to PDF, it recolors the background layer below it, but only in the area of the layer that I recolored. See Attached image. It looks fine when I export to PNG. The background watercolor wash is at 50% and when I make it 100% the boxes don't appear, but then my background is the wrong color. Is there a setting I'm missing in PDF Export? I've messed around with a bunch of them to no avail. Hope I can get some assistance. Thanks! (PS - Pixelated the invitation text to protect the clients.) Staff stokerg Posted June 10, 2019 Staff Posted June 10, 2019 Hi redclifford5000 and Welcome to the Forums, Could you attach the .afdesign file for this and i'll look into the issue. Just quickly tried this myself and didn't have any issues. Quote
redclifford5000 Posted June 10, 2019 Author Posted June 10, 2019 Please find the .afdesign file attached as well as the .pdf just in case that helps. I removed the text layer for privacy and marked the layers that appear to be having the issue as "ISSUE LAYER." As you'll see, they're all the ones that I recolored. Thanks for the reply and looking into this. 19_0610 Affinity Help - Wedding Invite.afdesign 19_0610 Affinity Help - Wedding Invite.pdf Quote
