karlhui
Downloaded the affinity-designer-1.7.0.367.exe, it has no response after double clicking or "Run as admin". Tried MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall thing but no issue was found, the only solution is to uninstall and install again? Anyway to save my "workspace" before uninstall? Thanks

karlhui
Since no update on my issue, I tried uninstall 1.6.5 and install 1.7, and now I couldn't install affinity designer anymore. No response after double clicking or "Run as admin". Maybe its just me, but to whom couldn't update to 1.7, don't uninstall your old one. Only way I could do is re-install windows. karlhui
After re-install windows (with remove everything option), update display card driver, update windows, and then restart pc, finally 1.7 is able to installed. Older version of Affinity Designer: https://store.serif.com/en-gb/update/windows/designer/1/ Edited June 17, 2019 by karlhui finally its solved
karlhui
Dear Affinity Support, Just saw that 1.7.1 was out and I tried to update my Affinity Designer, failed again, no response after double-clicking or "Run as admin". Checked windows and display card driver is up-to-date, restarted pc. Why it is such painful to update your products? This really make me lose my patience.
