Up dates

I have both window and iPad versions of Photo and Designer. I am a novice user.Can Support please explain clearly way to download up dates.

Do I need to get download keys and uninstall previous versions first?

What are the stages?

Don’t want to start without clear steps explained.

I think this may help a few of us.

Welcome to Affinity Forums
On Windows it should do the update automatically for you when you start the application next time assuming you bought it from the Microsoft Store. If not, open the Microsoft Store app, search for Affinity Photo (or Designer) on the top right of the interface and go to the respective product page. You should have an update button there (instead of install).

If you have bought the Windows version from the Affinity Store, it will check if there's updates available and will offer to install them for you.

Same for iPad, they should be installed automatically. If not, run the App Store app, tap the Updates tab (on bottom), then click the Update button in front of each application in the list (or the Update All button on the top right of the interface below the avatar to update them all.

This all worked. I think there was a glitch previously, as the email re updates came before the programmes or App Store had update information.
