I am new to photo editing and to Affinity Photo for iPad. I shoot full frame RAW images and find myself overwhelmed with the 100's if not 1000's of editing options available. I am able to do basic editing such as exposure, contrast, cropping etc., but I am ignorant when it comes to masks, layers, curves and on and on. The tutorial videos are great but very limited. I know it is a learning curve, but at my age I may not live long enough at the rate I'm going.

Can anyone suggest a guide or workbook that might help me learn? I understand there is no specific workbook for iPad from Affinity available. Would their workbook for Affinity Desktop apply to applications on the iPad? Or, can anyone suggest an approach on learning this wonderful, but beastly app? Thank you so much.

Hi Patrickdavid,

Welcome to the forums.

The Affinity Photo Workbook covers using the tools available in the Desktop version, however the same tools are also available in the iPad version. The UI is different to that of the desktop but the tools work in similar ways.
