Michale Jasson
I can't figure out how to use a second monitor with Affinity Photo, the way I do in Lightroom. I did a search and learned that it seems to be called - or is related to - "separated mode", and I found that under the Window tab, but clicking on that just takes away the image and leaves only the toolbars. How do I get the image in an editing screen on my iMac and the edited image by itself - no toolbars - on my external Dell monitor? Thanks. Staff Lee D Posted March 28, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 28, 2019 Hi Michale, Welcome to the forums. Separated mode is what you are wanting to use to get just the image window on a second screen. Once you have an image open in Affinity Photo use Window > Separated Mode. The tool panels and image window will become floating and can be moved anywhere on the first or second screen. If when you enable Separated Mode you can no longer see the image window, do you have any other apps open that it may be behind? Click the app icon to make sure it hasn't been minimised.
