Greetings and hope I am in the correct place for this query.

I am unable to exit AP and have to restart my desktop to do so.  If I try to Exit I get the following message...

image.png.bac8984c8432c03ff22a796d73fcb8af.png

This seems to have happened after an exercise in HDR merge with multiple images three weeks ago.  It's rather frustration  and I hope someone can point me in the right direction to overcome this problem

I'm not sure if is a Windows 10 issue or an AP issue.  Incidentally another of my colleagues has the same problem with his PC so mine is not an isolated case.

Thanks

Kerry

Hi Kiwie and Welcome to the Forums,

With Affinity closed (you'll likely need to use Task Manager to quit Affinity)

Can you check this location:

%AppData%/Affinity/Photo/1.0/temp

To get there, just call up the run box by holding down the Windows key and tapping the letter R and then copy and paste the above path into the run box and click okay.

That should open a folder and i suspect you'll see a temp file from three weeks ago.  Delete this and then start up Affinity and try closing it again.
