Tbergaren
As being a fresh user in this tool, I started by using the training, and in the first video, Inpaiting tool is described. I found it interesting and started use it for learning, but for all times now used the Inpainting brush tool and the Clone tools stops working after a few number of times used. This issue is in a 'locked' situation even after closing and re-open a saved modified picture even if the Affinity tools is closed and restarted. It only works a few number of times on each new opened picture. Inpainting Symptom is that, the red colour marking stops appearing while applying the effect on the picture by clicking and holding the left mouse button, after releasing the left mouse button a progress bar with increasing % of progress clearly visible and text appears, still when tje progress bar is 'ready' and disappears, no changes are made visible in any layer. Clone After areas is marked the clone brush is moved and no changes are made all three parameters set to 100%. (Opacity, Flow, Hardness) Were do I go wrong in using these tools in this tool? Hi Tbergaren and Welcome to the Forums, Only time i can replicate that is if i don't have the correct layer selected. Make sure you have the correct layer selected for the one you want to use the Inpainting brush on or set the option on the Toolbar along the top from Current Layer to Current Layer and below (depending on your layer setup). If it's still failing, please post either a screen recording or screenshot showing the Inpainting brush selected and the Layers Studio. 4 hours ago, Tbergaren said: After areas is marked the clone brush is moved and no changes are made all three parameters set to 100%. So same advice above applied, make sure you have the correct layer selected or set the option to Current Layer and below.
