alexshepard Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Hi folks, new user here just getting into Affinity Designer. I've been following along with some tutorials online, and when I make a custom vector brush from scratch in Affinity Designer for iPad, I can't paint with it. Instead, the app continues to paint with the previously selected brush. Has anyone else run into this? It seems to work OK if I duplicate an existing brush and tweak the options, but creating a brush from scratch just doesn't work. I've tried restarting Affinity Designer, opening a new document, even rebooting my iPad, with no luck. I've attached a screen recording so you can see what I mean. You can tell that something seems broken because the Context Toolbar at the bottom shows a different selected brush then the Brushes Studio on the right. Thanks for the help! So you are not doing anything wrong and it's logged with the Dev team to resolve. The only workaround i'm aware of is as you've already found, to duplicate and edit one of the other brushes. Quote
