Carl Andrew Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I downloaded the latest Beta version of the software last night and the installation seemed to complete all right. However, it would not open. Instead when I clicked on the icon I received the following dialogue box message: Affinity Publisher has stopped working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing without success - I always receive the same message. I am using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit operating and x 64 processing. Any ideas?
kenmcd Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Some users have had an issue with 249 crashing on start because their Microsoft .NET framework is not up-to-date. It appears that .NET 4.7 is required as a minimum. You can download the most current version of .NET 4.7.2 here:https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework-runtime/net472 Install that and then see if APublisher starts and runs. Please come back and confirm if that was your issue.
