Novice Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Hi, I'm not a designer, but I do publish a magazine for a charity using Quark. Up until now I've used Photoshop CS2 to convert photos from RGB to CMYK. However, I've just upgraded to a mini mac that runs OS X Yosemite and my old photoshop software won't run on it. Affinity Designer looks good, but can I convert photos to CMYK?
Staff MattP Posted April 12, 2015 Staff Posted April 12, 2015 Hi Novice, Just load up the photo, go to Document Setup and change it to CMYK and export a new JPEG/TIFF and it should all work :) Thanks, Matt
Novice Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 Hi Matt, Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that but got a pop up saying "You cannot save this document with extension .jpg at the end of the name. The required extension is .afdesign." Is this because it is the trial version I am using? Carol
Novice Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 Apologies Matt! I missed the bit about exporting it! This is great, thanks again. Carol
