I have downloaded the latest Affinity software 1.6.5 and wonder if this Canon camera is not yet supported? It's certainly not listed online yet. Anyone help? Many thanks! Staff MEB Posted February 15, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 15, 2019 Hi Hazel Muir, Welcome to Affinity Forums Our RAW engine Serif Labs still doesn't support it but if you are using a Mac you can switch the RAW engine to Apple (Core Image RAW) engine which does support it. To do it, open a RAW file, go to menu View ▸ Assistant... and change the first dropdown (RAW Engine) to Apple Camera RAW. Reload the image/RAW file and it should display correctly (the Apple engine is not available in Affinity Photo for Windows since it's provided by the macOS). If you are using Windows you can use Adobe DNG Converter to convert the RAW's (CR2) to DNG and open the DNG in Affinity Photo. Serif Labs engine should load them correctly.
