M_alice'68 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Hello, I'm newcomer here. I'm working on an old family photo from passport. Background is a mess, I'll replace it. But I want to salvage as much of the lover body part, as I can. Unfortunately, there is a big ink stamp. I've tried all healing and clone tools, no luck. I'm always left with traces of ink (visible even in b&w). And the places where ink was are always different shade. I'm beginner in this business (photo restoration), so maybe I'm just not good enough. But... maybe there is a way to mask that stamp and then... I don't know, desaturate, use HSL... ? I know, more or less, how to create mask for this kind of job in PS. But not in AP. Any help, suggestions? Maybe mask is not a good idea here? M_alice PS. English is not my native language, so sorry, if any mistakes... Quote
Staff Gabe Posted February 14, 2019 Staff Posted February 14, 2019 Hi @M_alice'68, Welcome to the forums. The inpainting tool works really good on this occasion. This is just a quick 2 minutes work on it. Thanks, Gabe. Quote
