Redman Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 Hi there, I have just started a trial and when I try to open a file I receive an Unhandled Exception error and Affinity closes, see below. I am not sure what the issue is. Could it be hardware or drivers etc? Cheers

Redman Posted January 31, 2019 Author Posted January 31, 2019 Hi, I am just looking to use as a photo editor and was attempting to open a photo, I tried CR2, Tiff and JPEG with the same error. I am running Windows 10, on a Dell XPS 15 (2012), Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU@ 2GHz, 4GB RAM, Display Adapters are Intel HD Graphics 3000 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M. I have tried to set the default driver for Affinity to the NVIDIA. I generally use Lightroom to edit. Cheers
Staff Gabe Posted January 31, 2019 Staff Posted January 31, 2019 Try this. Get the latest graphics card drivers from the manufacturer's website. Uninstall the current drivers. Reboot. Install the new drivers. Reboot.
