How to divide a circle with random curve?

Make the two curves (inside the circle) a single object (shape) extending them beyond the circle boundaries and connecting them (to form a shape), then subtract (or Divide if you want to keep the the shape inside the circle as an object as well) this shape from the circle using boolean operations.

Here's a quick way to build it starting from a single curve with the desired width. In the video I used the subtract operation first to subtract the the expanded line from the circle and then Divide to further divide the circle in two separate objects, but you can use Divide first to turn the whole design into 5 separate shapes (the two parts from the circle and three for the line) and simple delete the ones you don't want.
