Moonlake
I guess I am either not doing or doing something wrong. i struggle to even draw a line... the reason every time I put my finger, pencil, over priced pen on the screen it samples colours, every second, no matter how hard I press or how gentle the moment I try anything up comes the annoying circle that shows the colours then of course it changes to that colour. And I,m about ready to have a tantrum. can I turn this feature off? I tried the bottom bar etc and so on, and it just does it, it even tries to sample th artboard. i am testing it on my iPad, before I jumped in and purchased it for my pc, I have been using photoshop since the launch in the uk so i know a wee bit. Drawing is supposed to relax you not send you into floods of anger. hope you can help my sanity. Moonie
DM1
Hi there Moonie. Artboards mentioned so I'm guessing Designer, not Photo. I'm not having this issue in either. There was an issue with an earlier version of the apps but it was improved a couple of releases ago. What version are you using? You can check in Settings. While there try turning on Touch for Gestures only. That may help (but some tools/actions will still function with Touch for Gestures set to on). It’s possible you have turned on something that is causing sampling colours (some of the context menus have little option buttons than can be inadvertently activated with a touch. Could you make a screen recording on the iPad to show what exactly is happening, preferably with context menu showing, then upload here. If you turn on Show touches in Settings it will make it easier to see what actions you do in the recording as that will show a blue circle where you touch your screen.
