William Overington Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I opened a .afpub file that I had produced earlier, just one page of text. I am wanting to copy some of the text in it to a forum post. However, I cannot get the text cursor. I closed the file and tried again. I closed the file and then closed Affinity Publisher and started again. But still no cursor. Is this a bug or something I have done please? William Overington Posted January 10, 2019 Author Posted January 10, 2019 Here is the .afpub file and the font. I have been experimenting based upon a post in the Unicode mailing list. http://www.unicode.org/mail-arch/unicode-ml/y2019-m01/0018.html Could the Private Use Area characters be something to do with it? It was working fine before. William italicizer_maquette_test.afpub italicizermaquette.otf Quote Until December 2022, using a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 in England. derlange 58 Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 you activated a lock icon, please "unlock" it in the layer William Overington 1 Quote
William Overington Posted January 10, 2019 Author Posted January 10, 2019 Thank you. I looked in help, found out about locking, and used Layer Unlock All It is all alright now. I found that the command to lock has a short cut of Control L. I may possibly have keyed that by mistake. Thank you for sorting it out for me.
