John Rostron Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 I have done this successfully in the past, but I cannot now remember how I did it.I wish to edit my avatar, and I have created two greyscale masks, one with the Little Man and the other the inverse for the background. This should enable me to edit the foreground and background separately. I have a layer stack with three copies of the original image, plus these two not-yet-masks on top. How do I insert these as masks into the pixel layers? John Quote Windows 11, Affinity Photo 2.4.2 Designer 2.4.2 and Publisher 2.4.2 (mainly Photo). CPU: Intel Core i5 8500 @ 3.00GHz. John Rostron Posted December 21, 2018 Author Posted December 21, 2018 I have discovered a way to do what I want. Select the not-yet-mask layer, select the actual white area, save mask as file. Then from my full pixel layer, I can lead mask from file. I could probably have done this using channels.
