Smooth Edges in Affinity Photo?

Hey Guys!

I am new to this forum and i hope i posted my question in the correct section.

I have a document with many shapes that all have been cut out and therefore the edges look pretty bad :(

Is there a way to get them smooth or sharp like seen in the right version of the picture?

Could you please provide a copy of your Affinity file? Where have these shapes been cut from, and what was used to cut the shape?

Hey Dan C! Thank you for your reply and for welcoming me  I am sorry but i can not share the file since it belongs to a customer and not me

The "shapes" have been cut in affinity photo. I created a rectangle shape and then cut around it with the cut tool. The one on the right side was an example which was given to me.

In most cases, the smoothing is best done before cutting the pixel data out, as after it has been cut it is harder to smooth. You can do this by refining a selection and using the feather tools, find out more in the following video -
