Affinity 1.6.7 Problem opening .NEF

Hi,

Using on  an a mac pro Afinity Photo 1.6.7

 

When I try to open Nikin .NEF files  it wont open right .

 

What can I do to solve this problem.

 

In other software it will Open with no problem

Do you mind attaching a screen capture of the dialog you get when you go to menu   ▸ About This Mac please (the Overview tab)? Do you have selected Apple (Core Image RAW) as the RAW engine in the Develop Assistant?

Yes it was selected apple  but  i changed to serife labs and it is working, terrible slow
