Yes you can, just a quick'n'dirty setting here for example purposes via FX shadow/border. - If something is overall white filled, like usually here in my example, where I now used the body/head stroke just to emphasize the border adding for you. Normally I didn't had used that stuff for this drawing and so adapted it just for showup purposes here...

I recall that there is somewhere a thread in this forum which deals with those zickzack (zigzag, cut out style) border and the possibilities how to do that.
