Cubelab Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Whenever I edit a layer, all the layers appear to be open in . the Layers toolbar which is a pain as I can't find what i need and have to firstly close them all to see the groups. I used to have Affinity set to remain closed at all times unless I chose to open them but since re-installing Affinity due to a computer issue, it's back to the way it was a while ago. Is there a way to leave the layers closed unless clicked open? Thanks! Quote
Staff Callum Posted December 6, 2018 Staff Posted December 6, 2018 Hi Cubelab, As far as I'm aware there is no way to set the app to behave this way. Thanks Callum Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Cubelab Posted December 6, 2018 Author Posted December 6, 2018 There is because I had it working before! I might have confused you ... What I mean is that I want the layers panel to have all the sections closed (ie the arrow pointing like this: >) all the time. Then if I want to open a section, I can and of course I'd need to close it again to keep things nice and tidy. But what I don't want is for all of the sections to be open even if I've only opened and worked on one of the other layers. Quote
Staff Callum Posted December 6, 2018 Staff Posted December 6, 2018 Hi Cubelab, Sorry this is possible its just a little bit misleadingly named. If you go to Edit > Preferences and under User Interface untick Auto scroll to show selection this should do what you are looking for. Thanks Callum Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
