When you have placed a graphic in or not in a Frame, and you discover you have placed the images in the wrong frames or it goes full page instead of going in the frame, is there a way to undo and place the graphics back onto the clipboard without going back to File, Place —pick images —enter?  I am placing a lot of photos at one time. I have tried Command+Z but it doesn't place them back on the clipboard, it just goes back to previous state.

There isn't an option that would place the placed images back into the clipboard, unless they are selected you could do Command X (Cut) or Command X (Copy). If it's just a case of being placed incorrectly, you could always select each image on the Layers panel and move them individually into place.
