Any other resources in learning?

Does anyone know of any resources of understanding affinity photo bettter?  I have the book and watch the turorials. I get how to use them, I need more of a when and why to use elements?  It possible that the tutorials and workbook should be enough and I just need to work on my understanding of it. Any advice would be helpful. I am starting to get a little discouraged if ever being good at affinity photo.

You will find plenty of third party resources on YouTube, Vimeo and other media channels as well as several courses tutorials on known websites like Udemy, Skillshare etc. Check out Simon Foster's tutorials on Udemy for example. There's a couple more listed here.
