DrBe
I scanned my signature and tried to create a file without the white background so that I could thereafter insert my signature on different color backgrounds (for example, in Powerpoint or Word). I assumed that using FILTERS>COLORS>ERASE WHITE PAPER was the solution. This seemed to work, since the image in Affinity showed the usual checkerboard with no white background. However, when I EXPORTED to any number of file formats, I still have the white background. Please advise.
Staff MEB Posted November 28, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 28, 2018 Hi DrBe, Welcome to Affinity Forums To what format have you exported the file? Some formats (as JPG for example) don't support transparency. Try PNG or TIFF and you shouldn't have issues. You inspired me to start through the process of checking every format, and...SUCCESS. Exporting to TIFF Greyscale 16-bit did the trick!
