12 point shape become transparent.

Recommended Posts

So I’m super new to this program. Never touched the desktop app. So I’m super lost, and I’ve tried reading the help section but I just can quiet get it to do what I want.

i have a wrench that has a 12 point shape that I want it to be see through. I’m sure this might be much easier if I properly set it up, but like I said I’m new.

The first pic shows the shape currently how it is., and the second picture is basically what I want it to be.  But with the ability for me to quickly erase the grey area "inside" the 12 point shape.

is it teh way that I set up the layer that is causing me to have so much trouble? Or what I want to do, not possible in the iPad version?

You can use Geometry Command to subtract the object layer with the points from the background spanner grey ring. Using Subtract will remove the points shape from the spanner ring allowing you to see through to layer underneath. One objects shape is 'subtracted' from the other.
